Timeline.
Jan 29. Program Nomination from MIX
Apr 29. Next Steps Email for Sogang - About 2-weeks later than other MIX exchange students (no worries if you have yet to receive your next steps email)
May 30. Sogang Application Deadline (KST) - Note: Early submission does not equal priority of acceptance. Every applicant will be checked on 5/30 (KST)
Jun 16. Sogang Exchange Program Admission Packet - includes Certificate of Business Registration, Certificate of Admission, & Pre-departure Handbook
Aug 06. First day of registration (KST) - Registration happens live online at your home country, so for me I did registration on O'ahu on Aug 5th at 3:00 PM (HST) and classes are on a first come- first serve basis so I recommend being at a location with optimal & fast internet
01: Application Details
Sogang University application was all online so it was an easy transaction to submit documents. I will say that I did my application about a month later than those that are attending the different Korean universities, so do not be alarmed of the wait; YOU will get the application within a month. Sogang's abroad team will send you a log-in credentials for your application (the email was sent on May 17th at 3:44PM) which includes a temporary username (ID) and password, they will also provide the application link to you. The application experience was great as Sogang has one of the least amount of required documents needed & you do 4-steps that includes:

1. Personal Information:
-- Name, Date of Birth, ID picture, Upload Required Documents
2. Housing:
-- Application for the international student dorm (Gonzaga Hall)
3. Language Programs:
-- As an exchange student at Sogang you must be enrolled at a language class -- I selected the basic 3-credit Korean Language and Culture class, since it was recommended for exchange students
4. Scholarship:
-- Application for the Sogang Global Scholarship. Personally I did not apply because I am a FAFSA student and I already had scholarships under my belt so I did not want to risk losing aid to pay for tuition

Just be sure to submit your application by May 30th (KST) :D ! and you are able to edit information until May 31st at 11:59 PM (KST) if you had made any mistakes on the app.
02: List of Required Documents
1.ID Photo: I just took a picture of myself in front of a white background. This photo will be used as your student ID at Sogang University so I highly recommend you send a photo that you don't mind seeing everyday
2. Copy of Transcript of Records (In English): I ordered my official transcript here: https://manoa.hawaii.edu/registrar/student-records/ordering-transcript/. I work for the Office of the Registrar and so I was able to get my transcript in less than 24 hours (electronically) but I suggest you order a transcript as soon as final grades are posted
3. Copy of Passport: I scanned my passport using a scan app called CamScanner (any scanning app will do), just be sure your scan of the passport has all your personal information on it before you upload
4. Copy of Bank Balance Certificate: I went to my bank that had the minimum required funds in the account which is 5,000 USD, and I simply just requested to have a bank balance printed out (be sure that the certificate has the official stamp of the bank on it or an official signature) than I just scanned it using CamScanner. Note* If you do not own a bank account under your name you must provide proof of a relation document (i.e parent's birth certificate) of the person who is the title holder of the account & you submit this doc into the extra documents section
5. Extra Documents: Official Birth Certificate - Luckily I had mines still but you can always order one from your official government website (order one ASAP)
